The G.U.T. 50 is the result of many years close co-operation with veterinarians, research scientists and other professionals working in the area of tele-injecting. The result is a top of the range, high quality, versatile and reliable rifle suitable for tele-injecting of all types of animals in diverse conditions ranging from the tropics to Antarctica. In daily practice, this tele-injection applicator may be used not only for the immobilisation of animals, but also for injection of antibiotics and vaccinations, as well as the tele implantation of transponders, and collecting biopsies. The regulation of the gas pressure is continually adjustable and is the basis of an absolutely harmless method of tele injection. Different exchange barrels for varying size syringes enables the use of a wide range of drugs. Due to the enlarged range of pressures achievable, you can now use this equipment for up to 70 meters. However please be aware that the optimal distance for a harmless tele injection depending on an animal's size, is between 5 to 50 meters. If the targeted animal approaches, the pressure can be reduced, thus minimizing the impact of the dart and eliminating possible injuries. The built in manometer with combined meter/pressure scale enables an exact adjustment of pressure. The G.U.T.50 is powered either by a CO2 cartridge, which is conveniently contained in a handle attached to the applicator, or by a foot pump which is also available. Features include easy breech loading of the dart into the barrel. Aiming takes place through an adjustable sight. Additionally you have the choice between several telescopic sights to enable exacting aiming over longer distances or in twilight.
