VARIO Equipment 

VARIO darts are manufactured from light but strong polyamide. They are based on the same principles as blowpipe darts, but are equipped with stainless steel needles. The VARIO darts are used in applications over longer distances, requiring the VARIO pistol or rifle for propelling instead of the blowpipe. VARIO darts are available in a range of sizes. 1 ml and 3 ml for use with the 11mm diameter barrel. 5 ml to 20 ml for use with the 13 ml diameter barrel. For longer distances, collared needles are recommended in order to increase the amount of time the syringes will remain in the animal, and also to protect the syringe from bouncing out of the animal.
