A Telinject Dart assembled and ready for use (when safety
cap is removed).
Step 1
Remove the satabilizer from the back of the dart.
If the dart is pressurized, de-pressure it with the venting pin.
Step 2
Move the rubber plug with the 20cc air filler syringe and
connector to a position that allows a little more room inside
the drug chamber than required for the volume of the drug to
be used.
Step 3
1. Seal the side opening of the special needle with the sealing
sleeve.
2. Fill the drug syringe with the required drug.
Step 4
Transfer the drug slowly into the drug chamber of the dart.
Syringe tip must always remain dry and free from grease. Remaining
small air bubbles in the drug chamber are harmless.
Step 5
Push the special needle firmly onto the body of the dart.
Cover needle and dart with the safety cap.
Now the dart can be transported safely.
Step 6
IMPORTANT NOTE. Although the diagram above is shown
horizontally to fit on this web page, in real life, the syringe
MUST be held vertically with the drug chamber on top,
and the vent piston in the air chamber pointing down towards
the ground.
When ready to use, presurize the dart with the air filler
syringe and connector. Hold dart upright and fill air from the
bottom to top. Important: Vent piston must point downwards!
Step 7
Attach the stabilizer firmly to the end of the dart with a
twisting motion.
Remove the safety cap
The dart is now ready for action.
